About

Welcome to a site dedicated to showcasing exciting e-books and apps for children and young adults.

Our focus is to provide trailers and links to interactive books and apps we think will be of particular interest to schools and libraries to support reading and literacy.

This is a collaborative effort between Gillian, a school librarian, and Tim, a software developer.  We also happen to be mother and son.

Feedback is most welcome and you can contact us at editor@ebooksinschools.com

Enjoy the site.

I am very much enjoying this resource and buying all the book apps.

There are so many mediocre book apps but you have picked some really cool new ones that I haven’t heard of before.

I think the next one you should review is Morris Lessmore- my fave.

There is a video linked here to make it easier to share.

Thank you for sharing them with us.

I look forward to reading more.

Great to get the feedback thank you and we are pleased to hear the blog is so useful. That’s the idea. We reviewed the wonderful Morris earlier in the blog. It’s in the archive. Wonderful app and short film too. Belonging to this group in VLN is providing me with resources to try too. Love Joliprint, so useful.

I wonder if it’s worth putting the links to all the ebooks reviewed down the side bar or adding a search function so people could easily find reviewed books past the last few.

I had thought I had gone back through everything but I obviously didn’t.
